Twice Upon a Time

A couple of weeks ago I got a message about going to a party celebrating the success of a friend of a friend, Amanda Langley. Her business is called "Twice Upon A Time" and she creates Eco friendly children's clothes using pre-used clothes. Her stuff is truly adorable, its no wonder its shes had such a huge success with her business. She has recently been featured in an article in a local business paper, and has been on the local morning TV show. You can watch her on Breakfast Television here. Twice Upon A Time is an etsy store so where ever you are you can enjoy Amanda's Eco-friendly creations for your little one. Check it out...

So a couple weeks ago at J's Baby shower Melissa, a friend I have met through J, asked me if I would make cupcakes for the party celebrating Twice Upon A Time. I must say, Melissa is the biggest supporter of Bre's Cupcakes here in Halifax. I decided that a sampler platter would be the best idea for a party like this. Sample Platter sounds good....but believe me I learned just how much work it can be, with the first one under my belt now I know what to expect for next time.

Everything at the party looked stunning! From the set up of the food to the food itself, and of course all of Amanda's beautiful creations. I brought my camera to snap a few pictures of things to share on the blog, so here they are.

A selection of the adorable creations from Twice Upon A Time

On these sweaters she put the buttons on and made the "blooms" that really make the sweater something special. You can also buy these blooms by themselves and wear them with anything. Even adults! I bought a Pink Bloom for Charlee and she wore it in our family picture yesterday, it really made her outfit.

Necktie Onesies! So many patterns to choose from and personalization.

She also does headbands and hats! This purple bloom was my favorite.

Melissa also did an amazing job with the party! Here are some of HER creations, I just loved her labels with the buttons. I really wish I would have taken pictures of everything, this is a small portion of what we were greeted with. She was such a great hostess, and I was so glad to be invited.

Bre's Cupcakes! The sampler platter included Vanilla with Buttercream and fondant buttons, Chocolate salted caramel, chocolate mint, and banana pecan with caramel butter cream.

Thank you to Melissa for having us out and for letting me showcase my cupcakes as well!
